80 Days of Summer - Day 11

Worked from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm today making up for all the playing and getting things set for a school board meeting in the evening. No time with the kids other than Emmy's softball game at 8:00 pm. Emmy had two walks and her team beat the previously undefeated team 9-3. 

 Woke up to this deer in our backyard. There are a number of mule deer living along the river delta that wander into our adjacent neighborhood.

Spent a little time loading the packs for our backpacking trip this weekend up into the Wind River Range in Wyoming - hiking up to the second of Green River Lakes - two natural lakes tucked in the mountains that are the headwaters of the Green River (which flows into the Colorado just 30 miles from our house).
